Welcome to our quilting world. As you browse these pages you will find an overview of the guild’s activities – past, present, and anticipated. Our general membership meetings, on the second Monday evening of each month, offer programs from an extraordinarily talented membership and other locally recognized fiber artists, as well as nationally and internationally recognized guest speakers. Our speakers are quilters, quilt designers, clothing designers, doll makers, and textile designers – in other words, experts who impact our love of quilting. Without fail each month our guild members present a spectacular Show and Tell, a hint of the quilt show we present every other year. There is an extensive lending library, fellowship, and opportunities to win small wall hangings and door prizes. Between meetings we offer a variety of activities, such as workshops, philanthropy sewing days, small friendship group meetings, and other special events such as our biannual quilt auction and our annual Little Red Hen auction.

The quilt auction offers completed quilts of various sizes. The quilts may be small wall hangings or king size bed quilts, but they are finished, ready to hang or use. The Little Red Hen offering is more casual, much like a white elephant sale with a theme. The Little Red Hen may include UFOs such as quilt tops, quilt blocks, quilt kits, books, magazines, quilting supplies, patterns – a variety of quilting related items.
